Officer? Crooked Officer?
“This is the most asinine act I’ve ever seen a police officer make; totally unwarranted.” Agreed, totally! How in the world did this person ever make it onto any level of police force? After watching all of this day’s news clips, and reading the online information, I still am reeling behind what I find to be a tragedy that deserves further protest!
It was earlier this month when Mr. Samuel Dubose, 43, was driving on an afternoon, presumably around The University of Cincinnati. Dubose was NOT speeding, as clearly seen in the video, which is now visible, worldwide. Yet, for whatever reason, he was pulled over by University of Cincinnati police officers, and he was approached by Officer Ray Tensing.
Officer Tensing proceeded to question Dubose, asking him where he was heading, and for his license. When Dubose was unable to produce a license, Tensing asked additional questions, including whether or not Dubose had been drinking. Dubose responded no, yet the situation suddenly escalated, with Officer Tensing raising his voice, brandishing his weapon, and demanding that Samuel Dubose get out of the car!
It seemed that before Dubose could even exit his vehicle, he was bombarded with a barrage of bullets! Officer Tensing fired upon him multiple times for what appeared to be NO REASON, as Dubose produced NO WEAPON of his own, had not used any foul language, and had not even attempted to escape the scene! Samuel Dubose, before he knew what was happening, was gunned down, MURDERED, by OFFICER RAY TENSING, for reasons as yet to be produced!
All of this now is being taken to courts in Ohio, the Cincinnati area. C.N.N., and all of the major news networks will be covering this story to follow through with what happens to Officer Tensing, as well as with the family of Samuel Dubose. Yet, this is only another underscoring of where racial relations really rest within our “great” nation. Indeed, no one is denying that leaps and bounds have been made over the last two centuries, yet mindsets still refuse to erase some of the seemingly savory, yet altogether stagnant ways of the past!

NOT to Be Tolerated; NOT AT ALL!
Alright, alright, alright (shout-out to Matthew…)! It has been A WHILE since I have actually sat my fuzzy behind down and blogged! Yet, after tonight’s events, I could not stay away any longer. Writing and blogging is what I love to do, after all, so I need to get back into the swing of things. Besides, with the winds blowing from this shit that has occurred just recently, I can NOT just let it ride without saying something somewhere to someone! DAMN IT!!!
I am sure that anyone with any level of cognizance has heard the news events of today. Specifically, I am referring to what went down in Africa; Zimbabwe. One of these assholes who feels that it is a fun and entertaining thing to hunt animals for sport went into The Hwange National Park of Zimbabwe, armed with a rifle, and targeting wild animals. This man (term used loosely…) named Walter James Palmer, a resident of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, entered the supposed sanctuary on the evening of July 6 with intentions to slaughter the wondrous wildcat.
Palmer was accompanied by Johnny Rodrigues, the head of The Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force (of all things…). It was at night, and they were using a spotlight to locate the lions. When Cecil was seen, the men tied a dead animal to their vehicle, using it’s scent to lure Cecil toward them. They drove out of the park, with Cecil in pursuit, and Palmer initially shot the lion with an arrow! This did not kill the cat, and he was able to escape.
However, Palmer and Rodrigues tracked Cecil down, locating him roughly forty hours later. That is when they murdered the lion with a shotgun! Moments later, the men saw that Cecil had been suited with a GPS tracking collar, and they attempted to destroy it, in an attempt to keep their cover!
Adding to the horror, these men (if you choose to call them such…) beheaded and skinned Cecil! The lion’s head has yet to be located. As is the way of nature, the cub’s of Cecil’s now will fall under the will of the next lead lion, which is called Jericho. This lion likely will kill Cecil’s cubs, as is the way of nature, to ensure the future of his own bloodline!

Is There Life Out There?
Certainly, this is a subject that humanity has been following for generations. I will admit to possibly salivating in heat to know the actual answer to this long-pressed question. Is there life out there?
Surely, this is something that every human being with any inkling of intellectual capacity wants to acknowledge. Is Planet Earth the only planet, of ALL OF THE PLANETS IN THE UNIVERSE, that hosts life? The mere notion of that seemingly is ridiculous! Yet, besides all of the rumors and hearsay, after all of the quandaries and queries, many of us really want to know whether or not there is anyone, anything else ALIVE out there in the vastness of the cosmos.
Browsing The Internet brought me to the e-article Will We Find Extraterrestrial Life In 2015. The author’s immediate response was “Probably not, but just possibly yes”. Now, just what in The Hell is that supposed to say?!?!
I recognize that life, as we understand it, requires certain, almost precise conditions, in order for it to form, to evolve, to thrive, et cetera. Yet, who is to say that other forms of life can not exist based upon some other bases of existence that we have yet to comprehend? As far as I know, we have NOT travelled all throughout the universe, let alone The Milky Way, so we are basing the manners of life-thriving on how we understand it from an Earth-bound perspective. That method of living might NOT always be the case in other places of the universe. Rebuttal?
Going into this e-article, the author delves into our recent, scientific studies of Mars. The rover Curiosity was able to pick up traces of methane in the Martian atmosphere. That small trace-emission of gas is the slightest of possibilities that life could have existed on The Red Planet at some point in it’s past! That seems to sound so blatantly dull and irrelevant, yet knowing whether or not any life was on Mars surely will mean that life certainly can exist at any other location throughout our Milky Way Galaxy. Our key would be just to locate the precise planetary systems, star systems, and to learn their distances in relation to Earth, so that we are able to study them!
Jupiter’s Europa and Saturn’s Enceladus are attracting recent attention. These are two of the larger moons of the two largest worlds of our solar system, and they seem to be massive worlds covered with ice. Some scientists are believing that enormous oceans exist beneath these ice shells. Even greater leaps of speculation (hope?) would lead some to suggest that aquatic life could exist within the oceans of these lunar worlds! Liquid water also is suspected to exist beneath Jupiter’s Ganymede, Saturn’s Titan, as well as worlds at the edge of the solar system such as Eris and Pluto!
This is just from the beginner’s basic exploration of our own solar system. There is an entire, massive star-filled galaxy, complete with millions of other worlds all around us! On top of that, there are likely millions of other galaxies out there! It would be beyond absurd to suggest that there is no life at some place, some nook, in some location of space that we simply have NOT seen, are NOT aware of, at this time!
Embrace our inferiority! It will be a while, at least, before we actually get to discover the truth about other worlds, and whether or not they host living beings. We can not even get back to our own friggin’ moon, let alone anywhere else in our solar system. Dare NOT mention any manner of voyage to any location to another star system. NO. Not now.

America The Beautiful! The news does not stop! I suppose that is a good thing. After all, we do want to keep life going, with all things up and running. It would be our point to decide at what levels to which the particular issues at hand are running: up or down; fast or slow; left or right; back and forth; yadda-yadda…
Earlier, I half-ass watched this jack-ass, Texas Governor Rick Perry, as he got his mug shot taken after his indictment, while some woman talks about him making Texas the laughing stock of the nation! My question would be, why did not you consider that when you voted for him the first damned time? Surely you heard the rest of the nation laughing then?!?!
Perry plead not guilty to the felony charges against him for public corruption. Yet, he is to turn himself into authorities in Austin, Texas for booking (ha-ha…), where he will be fingerprinted, and his hideous mug shot will be taken! Yet, he still plans to run for President! HA! Anyhow…
I look at more relevant news, seeing where these insanely murderous militants of ISIS are at their villainously wicked antics! It was earlier when a video was posted on YouTube, showing where the terrorist organization had United States citizen and journalist James Foley as their captive. During the video, Foley is shown on his knees, beside someone who is wearing all-black clothing. He is made to read a statement that says, “the real killer is America”! Soon thereafter, Foley’s head is cut off of his body! RUTHLESS!
ISIS is in NO WAY meant to be portrayed as anything more than a despicably disgusting collection of criminals and crap! As these people come out of Iraq and Syria, they group into this terrorist assemblage which acts in attempts to shut down and to destroy anything that contradicts their strict and harsh beliefs of Islam, likely as displayed through the mannerisms of their leadership. They work through ruthless actions of terror that include capturing their enemies, then torturing them, executing them, and even beheading some of them!
It seems to be something of a slippery line. I often hear several people questioning, “why are we over there anyway”, or “why do we care what is happening in Iraq”? Well, first of all, it is a greater problem than initially realized. What happens over there will affect The U.S., does affect The U.S., at various levels. There is a major oil supply under Iraq. Surely, everyone realizes the need to have practically liberal access to oil. Iraq has a major arsenal supply!
Additionally, those NUCLEAR weapons do not need to be out of place, out of hand, and wound up in a position to be targeted at us, or anyone else, for that matter! The purpose of The United States and our allies is to be able to retrieve that arsenal supply, getting it to a safe and possibly secret location! I recognize that nuclear weapons can not be just outright destroyed, yet I do believe that it is in the best interest of the planet to attempt beginning something where these weapons can be placed somewhere that they can begin to degrade securely, and without interruption from anyone attempting to get hold of them for ulterior, underhanded purposes.
Something must be done, and something must be done NOW! This kind of shit can NOT continue! To have our OWN countrymen BEHEADED before our own eyes by outright terrorists who are practically laughing and shaking their dicks in our faces?!?! ARE YOU KIDDING?!?!
President Obama is threatening to send additional troops into Iraq. He publicly labeled ISIS as “a cancer threatening the entire region”, in reference to the terrorist group’s Middle East status. Along with The President’s announcements, France, Germany, and Italy all have stated that they will assist, at some levels, in the efforts to subdue ISIS.
Furthermore, Attorney General Eric Holder has arrived in Ferguson, Missouri to investigate the shooting and cold-blooded killing of unarmed Michael Brown by area police officers allegedly responding to riot calls. The tensions remain high in this mid-U.S. city, though it is relatively calm, considering the past few days. School is preparing to start, and the area communities are highly uncertain about the security of their children!

I do not know. This conversation can go on, will go on for a long time. Pointing fingers at President Obama is not really useful, I do not think, as he did not put our troops into this position. I would blast W, yet I do recognize that something needed to be done with Saddam Hussein. However, I do not think that we needed to be engaged in a decades-long battle royal in The Middle East! I did think, always have thought that it has been about our desire to have a greater access/control of the mass oil supply at that area of the world. Having allies over enemies makes it easier to get to this much needed substance. I DO think that Mr. Obama should be making greater efforts to bring our troops HOME FROM THE MIDDLE EAST before his term ends in 2016!
Alright. That was my evening brain fart. Iraq and related issues will be on the news for weeks, months to come. This crap with Rick Perry is highlighting local Texas televisions now, with possible clips catching national attention. If there is comedy enough in it to last for him to actually lead into some level of trial time, that would be certainly great, at least for the comedy of it! I would like to find out which other states have had such blatant buffoons as their elected leaders? Now, what does that say about the state?

Gone Too Soon, Robin Williams!
It has been a minute. I have been out of the mix, out of the loop, and possibly out of my mind! Well; maybe, maybe not. Who is to say. There is so much going on right now, and I had several topics that I wanted to blog about. Yet, there has been a seeming explosion of news today that merits discussion; I feel a need to express my emotions through this computer!
First, I am at a state of despair, disdain, disbelief, at the loss of an icon! Mr. Robin Williams died today! At age 63, Robin Williams was found dead in his home from an apparent suicide, of all things! Unbelievably, he was suffering from some level of depression! You just NEVER KNOW what someone else is TRULY going through!
Williams’ death is especially upsetting to me because I view him as an icon! I got in touch with Williams as a child by occasional viewings of him in Mork and Mindy during my childhood. Yet, it was his role in The Birdcage that truly captured my attention to the essence of his awesome theatrical talent, while at the same time assisting me with viewing myself. From that point, I continued with viewing Williams in his works in cinema and on television, while thoroughly being delighted by all of it!
They are saying that it was around noon, Pacific Standard Time, when police officers arrived at Williams’ home. It was at that point when the officers discovered his lifeless body, and medics were summoned to recover him. He was later taken to an area hospital, where he was officially pronounced as dead from asphyxiation, drug overdose.
Joy Behar is being interviewed by telephone now, regarding her memories of Robin Williams. C.N.N. has gone into a clip from his role in the Academy Award-winning film Good Will Hunting. Williams has had roles in so many movies that have captivated audiences for decades, and has literally made fans out of millions of people around the planet!
Now, after the fact, reporters are saying that Robin Williams was suffering from addiction and depression. My question would be, “where was everyone when it might have been even slightly suspected that Robin was having the least of issues?” Did no one give a damn that he might do something even mildly drastic before it would get to the point that the man would KILL HIMSELF!?!? Where are people when you truly need them?
Well, we all have to go some time, one way or another, sad, but true. Indeed, it is sad, very sad that Robin Williams killed himself. I was/am especially distraught because I found him to be an icon. Williams was intelligent, humorous, globally savvy, ecologically aware, and indeed someone to which I had no problem with idolizing. Yes, he had his problems, he had his issues, but who does not? I would have to wonder about out of all of his Hollywood friends and associates, did no one notice that Robin was having issues and problems that might have needed intervention, or may have required some form of help that could have prevented this?
Robin McLaurin Williams was born July 21, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois. He had been married three times, the last of whom was his widow, Susan Schneider. He has three children. Rest in peace, Robin!

Hello Out There……..????
It’s been a minute! The blog thing has not exactly been the top of the list of activities. Yet, there is always so much of interest that deserves discussion, review; someone needs to put it out there for conversational spark! This one recent topic of interest certainly should get motors revving….
Located some 490 light years away from our beloved Mother Earth exists the world that we have dubbed as Kepler 186f! As is what is with the norm with N.A.S.A. scientists and collective cohorts, the search for extra-solar planets and alien life progresses. It seems that a recent burst of luck has fallen upon the researchers, as the discovery of this distant planet is rousing levels of excitement about the possibilities of a world with similarities of life-harboring capacities nearly equivalent to that of our precious Earth!
Kepler 186f is being called “Earth’s cousin”! The planet is a mere ten percent larger than our world. It is seemingly special because it just might be able to hold liquid water upon it’s surface. The world exists in The Goldilocks Zone from it’s host star, Kepler 186 (where things are not too hot and not too cold…). This makes the planet extra-exclusive because of the premise that the water just might actually be there! Where there is water, there likely is bound to be life!
We as a species have been wondering since the dawn of our existence as to whether or not we are alone in this universe! One of the first steps to answering that question likely will be locating another world in the universe that will be capable of sustaining a manner of life as we would understand it. If indeed Kepler 186f is that world, then a great barrier has been breached!
Indeed, being 490 light years away from us, we are NOT going to get there! We can send our probes to study this planet for further generations to have details about it. Hopefully, our successors will have survived us, our Earth will still be in tact, and they can send probes, even people to explore this world! Dare I suggest the topic of extra-solar exploration, colonization (after we have colonized Mars, Europa, and areas of the outer solar system….)?
Of course, all of this will take years of additional study, planning, financial contribution, political hullabaloo, et cetera. However, the ultimate goal should be the acknowledgement of the recognition about the existence of other worlds in this universe that do host life! We can hopefully, finally, get to a fact that Earth is NOT alone!

Apophis and 21st Century Asteroid Attacks!
It has been discussed off and on for the past several years, and as the date (and the rock) approaches, the surrounding information has become more compelling to the observant public. The space rock designated as 99942 Apophis continues on it’s current course though space, which may bring it into direct collision with Planet Earth! The continued updates of studies regarding Apophis state that the asteroid will have two near encounters with our world before the middle of this century. The space rock is supposed to make a near grazing of our world during 2029, with an even closer fly-by during 2036!
Yet, recent news reveals that it is not Apophis which is bringing immediate concern to the scientific and the generally curious communities. One asteroid has been designated as 2013TV135, and it actually flew by Earth this past Wednesday! Of course, nothing serious occurred because of it’s fly-by, as the rock drifted by our world at a distance of roughly 4.2 million miles. This particular space rock is one-fourth of a mile in size. 2013TV135 again will skim past Earth during 2032. Yet, scientific researchers are cautioning the public not to stress over any potential disaster to come because of this oncoming approach.
2013TV135 is supposed to fly past Earth in nineteen years, yet there is updated information regarding an asteroid that will graze Earth this coming February! The asteroid named 2012DA14 will approach our planet during this coming February 2014. It is creating controversy within the scientific and the otherwise curious communities because of it’s potentially perilous proximity to our planet as it flies by. Discovered by astronomers at La Sagra Observatory, the space rock itself is roughly 150 feet wide, and it already has missed Earth with a potential strike on February 15, 2013.
Upon the approach of 2012DA14, it is alleged to come to a distance of roughly 17, 200 miles of Earth’s surface. This is closer to Earth than the distance of many orbiting satellites! It’s possibility to impact Earth have many researchers alluding to the Tunguska event of 1908! At that impact, an asteroid exploded over Siberia, flattening roughly 500,000 acres of the northern Russian forest area!
The approach of 2013TV135 during 2032 currently is investigated to have little disruption to our planet. Scientists with N.A.S.A.’s Near-Earth Object Program, along with researchers at Aricebo Observatory, currently are stating that this asteroid has a one in 48,000 chance of impacting Earth during that year. The researchers do know that the space rock will pass Earth on August 26, 2032 (…mark your calendars now). It actually was discovered Tuesday prior, October 8, when it nearly grazed Earth at a distance of 4.2 million miles!
All eyes do remain on Apophis! This asteroid’s potential encounter with Earth during 2029, with it’s second-shot during 2036 have the scientific community, along with others in effort to protect the planet, attempting to make whatever motions are meaningful to prevent any potentially planetary peril due to this space rock. Some plans are being made currently, almost as if out of the script for the film Armageddon! N.A.S.A. is concocting “a response strategy” to deal with the possible peril of Apophis by gathering astronauts and scientists to prepare a strategy for warding off this potentially deadly intruder from deep space!

A Possible Water-World Found?
We are getting closer!!! Surely, it might not seem like it, yet we really might be looking at life on an alien world before we know it! Indeed, that life might be our own! Would not that be something!
These astronomers, and related scientific researchers have been working tirelessly to find out more and more of the intricacies to the details about all of what is within what we are understanding as outer space. Currently, it has been a team of astronomers out of Japan who have come up with exciting discoveries regarding studies of an alien solar system that has been of recent scientific fascination. Telescopic eyes from eastern Asia have been reviewing a potentially habitable world in a Gliese system!
Located roughly 42 light years away, the world Gliese 1214 b is found. This is practically nearby, in terms of galactic distances. The system is located within The Ophiuchus Constellation.
Scientists are excited about Gliese 1214 b because it seems highly possible that this world has a hydrogen-filled atmosphere, filled with clouds that could disperse water droplets! Teams of investigators, including researchers lead by Dr. Michitoshi Yoshida at Hiroshima University of Japan, have been studying observed information about this world. They have used tools aboard The Subaru Space Telescope, which include The FOCAS Optical Camera, and The Suprime Cam, to capture more detailed images of the distant world.
The planet itself is said to be 2.7 times the diameter of Earth. It is seven times as massive as our world. The hydrogen-filled atmosphere alludes to the presence of water! Scientists indeed want to do further investigations, finding out whether or not water exists merely within the clouds, or if it can be found elsewhere on Gliese 1214 b. An existence of water would be a bull’s eye for the ongoing search for extraterrestrial life, as water is what is needed ultimately for all that we understand as life!

A Brief Recognition of Gold!
Gold! It is not at all something with which we are unfamiliar. For millennia, humanity has yearned for, relished after, and been wanton with the precious metal for reasons of all imagination. The beauty and the brilliance of it has made gold one of the most prime materials of the planet!
Albeit it likely has been a part of the planetary system since the origins of Earth, gold was discovered relatively recently. During the nineteenth century, within January of 1848, General John A. Sutter lead a group of miners in the mountainous regions of California. He and his team entered this area at Coloma, California. The workers ended up excavating a previously unknown element which turned out to be of extreme value! The miners digging within the caves of these mountains were able to dig out gold from beneath the layers of rock.
The gold that these miners excavated amounted to roughly twenty-three carats. It was a valuable discovery, yet it did not prove to be worthwhile for General Sutter and his workers. They wound up losing the diggings to Mexican people, neighbors, as well as rouge employees! Tough Stuff!!!
Gold is considered to be a precious metal, rated as 79 on The Periodic Table of Elements. It is rated above other precious metals that include silver, platinum, palladium, and rhodium. The only precious metal rated higher than gold currently is iridium, which is 77 on The Periodic Table.
Our Earth is the only place we know of to find solid gold deposits. Most of this is located beneath the continental grounds of Africa, The Americas, and Asia. It is the most precious of the precious metals on the planet, as we currently claim eight. These include gold, along with silver, platinum, palladium, osmium, iridium, rhodium, and ruthenium, all in that order.
