NOT Guilty!!!

July 6, 2011 at 12:40 AM (Uncategorized)

A bombshell, indeed!  The trial of Casey Anthony lasted for a month and a half, with lawyers, legal analysts, media commentators, and all others whom had interest following along.  I believe it was during 2007 when the entire legal affair began, and today it concluded with a shell-shocking result to the case!

Young Caylee Marie Anthony, aged two years, came up missing from her Orlando, Florida home during June, 2008.  The exact date was June 18, 2008.  This is when Caylee was observed being escorted from her grandfather’s home.

Her grandmother is the one who reported Caylee missing during a period of over a month and a half after that visit.  During this time, reports are that Casey Anthony seemed unaffected by what was the disappearance of her own child.  She had been living in an Orlando, Florida residence with her boyfriend, and Caylee’s absence became very apparent to her grandparents.  It was July 15, 2008, when her grandmother, Cindy Anthony, called 911 to report Caylee missing.

Casey Anthony was arrested the next day.  Her bail had been set at $500,000, and she was labeled as a person of interest in the disappearance of Caylee.  At one point that month, Cindy Anthony reported having seen Caylee, yet that could not be proved.

After one month, bounty hunter Leonard Padilla posted bail for Casey.  That occurred August 21, 2008, yet an arrest warrant was issued for Casey, again.  She was arrested, once again, August 30, 2008.  This was for other charges that included child neglect, and providing false information to investigating officials.

As September 2008 began, investigators started to vocalize beliefs that Caylee Anthony was no longer living.  Yet, during the same time period, Casey Anthony was released from incarceration.  Orange County, Florida Sherriff’s Office gave public statements, saying that they believed Caylee Anthony was not alive.  A defamation lawsuit was filed against Casey Anthony that month, and she was taken back to jail by the end of September 2008.

She was released by an anonymous bond, yet was indicted on charges that included aggravated child abuse and felony murder.  The charge of child neglect had been dropped, yet Casey Anthony was indicted on aggravated child abuse and felony murder.  Prosecutors from The State of Florida meant to seek the death penalty for Casey Anthony in the murder of her own daughter.

October 2008 was when Casey Anthony was officially charged with the murder of Caylee Anthony.  During that time, Orange County, Florida Police located the remains of a child less than a mile from Casey Anthony’s home.  By that December, it was confirmed that Caylee Anthony was dead, having been murdered.

A criminal trial for Casey Anthony began May 24, 2011.  Prosecuting attorneys meant to achieve the death penalty for her, presenting evidence before a jury of eight men and nine women.  Judge Belvin Perry presided over the case, with Attorney Linda Drane Burdick leading the prosecution, and Attorney Jose Baez leading the defense.  The trial lasted until June 30, 2011, and jury deliberations happened yesterday, The Fourth of July.

This morning, the jury read the verdict that Casey Anthony WAS NOT GUILTY of first degree murder, aggravated child abuse, or aggravated manslaughter!  She had been found guilty of giving false information to law officials.  Her sentencing will happen July 9, at 9 a.m., EDT.

Now.  Everyone just knew that this woman had murdered her own child.  Everyone just knew that an intelligent and competent jury would see the evidence presented by the prosecution, and that they would make a rational decision which would again legitimize the legal system of The United States.  Surely, enough details had been provided to show that young Caylee had been missing because of criminal actions, and that she had been subsequently murdered by her own mother!  Surely, the evidence was presented by the prosecution, the defense could not make a strong case to deflect such overwhelming facts, and a legitimate set of jurors would reach a justifiable verdict.

NOT GUILTY!!! HA-HA, HA-HA!!!  The eight gentlemen and nine ladies of this Pinellas County, Florida courthouse jury found Casey Anthony to be INNOCENT of the abuse and murder of her own missing, two-year-old daughter, Caylee.  She WILL NOT face the death penalty.  She likely will be released from jail by July 7, after having served time already, during this entire case and calamity!  The shit will swirl with a clogged toilet…
